• K.O. Kid's Contract Terminated
  Our contract with the K.O. Kid has with immediate effect been terminated. Although one of our first artist to sign the K.O. Kid was given option to have extra time to deliver a master recording, and then further time to help manage personnel problems, but despite this failed to deliver. We therefore find it in the best interest of the company, our other artists and potential future artists to terminate his contract.
• Peter Small says Dance Tonight
  Our latest signing is Peter Small and his album Dance Tonight. Peter from Canada bring an interesting mix of Country / Rock Rock / Honky Tonk music to fans in this album - definately worth a listen!!
• New Signing
  LHP Records is proud to announce its latest signing - Paul Thomas & Paul Walker. Will will be brining their latest EP to the world soon...watch this space!!

New Artists Talks continue with new artists LHP Records continues to hold discussions with new artist from both the UK and further afield. We hope to bring some new talent to our books soon. ------------------------------------------------- Katherine's Favourites leave LHP Records 01/07/09 It has been announced today that KF and LHP are to part, as KF wish to look to pastures new. ------------------------------------------------- Back to the old skool 18/12/08 Local Basingstoke Rap/Grime Artist THE KO KID www.myspace.com/ukthekokid Returned to his old school, The Vyne, Vyne Road, Basingstoke, on Wednesday 17th December to perform a free Christmas gig to all the pupils, for a way of showing appreciation for all the help he was given in the past. The KO Kid had a rapturous welcome from a full hall of pupils & several teachers, at his performance during the pupils 'lunch' break. The KO Kid had 2 great suppport artists, 'Havock' & 'Signal' also 2 young men from Basingstoke. The KO Kid amoungst his repertoir, performed one of his new songs, due for download from his website in February. The KO Kid wrote & performed the theme tune for Radio Basingstoke www.radiobasingstoke.co.uk, & no doubt was heard by many of the 140,000 people world wide that hit the new website, in October. He has been signed up by LHP Records (www.lhprecords.com) & is in the throws of recording his first professional CD album. Kid signed LHP Records (17/08/08) The K.O. Kid is now signed to the label and is busy working on his first album with us, as well as an EP so we can get some songs out to you fans to get a taste of what greatness is to come!! --------------------------- The K.O. Kid comes to LHP Records (16/08/08) Flash !! - Basingstoke rap artist The K.O. Kid is due to sign with LHP Records this weekend. With appearances at this year's Basingstoke Live Music Festival and supporting N. Dubz earlier in the year, this artist certainly shows he has lots to offer. -------------------------------- New distribution links (16/07/08) We are now in talks with a new partner to provide both digital and physical distribution, therefore offing us a one stop shop to access over 200 digital and over 7000 retail outlets. Again we have been looking at putting our artists first and being able to offer the best deal, this means they will continue to not have to pay anything up front or have any rolling fees. Everything they receive from us they keep. --------------------------------- LHP Records "Breaks the ice!" with Max Dmitrieff & Katherine's Favorities (13/06/08) The ice is broken with LHP Records signing Russian band Max Dmitrieff & Katherine's Favorities. This is very exciting for us as it marks our first external signing!! --------------------------------- LHP Records have been asked to be part of the Surface Unsigned Committee. (02/06/08) "Surface Unsigned invites a variety of industry guests to its showcases. Industry guests in the first stage of the 2008 Festival have included Flat Cap Promotions, Alan Mcgee Management, Surface Management, Dirty Pretty Things, Kerrang Radio, Equator Music, XFM Radio, The Fly, NME, The Great Escape Festival, MAS Records (Robert Plant), M20 Records, Jon Brookes (Charlatrans) and more individual A & R.
